World’s oldest woman is from Georgia!



In Georgia, at the age of 133 years, died the oldest resident in our planet Anthis Khvichava.
A pensioner from the village Sachino, Tsalenjikha region was certified by Guinness World Records, confirming that she is the oldest man on the planet. Officially confirmed date of her birth is July 8, 1880.

According to the relatives, Anthis Khvichava worked in agriculture until 1965 and retired at the age of 85 years. “All her life she was a very progressive, clear-minded person” – added the authorities of Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti region – “Shortly before her death, Anthis asked to teach her grandchildren how work with personal computer.”

Anthis Khvichava is also as one of the oldest women who gave birth. Two of her children from her first marriage had died during the Second World War of hunger. To give life to the last her child Anthis decided being 60 years old. Now the son of the oldest inhabitant of the Earth just turned 70.
